Dadai is a small village of 1900 hectares in Desuri Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dadai depends on Rani, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 812.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dadai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dadai's pin code is 306601[4], and village code is 02463400. The area of Dadai is segregated as 1062 hectares irrigated area, 98 hectares unirrigated, the 545 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 195 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dadai has One post office (Dadai B.O) and Sixty Five public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Dadai has One bank and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Dadai is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3184 and has total administration over 700 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Dadai has 429 children, 226 boys and 203 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 690 (21.67%) males constitute 334 (10.49%) of the population and females 356 (11.18%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 37 (1.16%) males constitute 19 (0.60%) of the population and females 18 (0.57%).

The workforce is 718 male, 705 female with 1012 (71.12%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 624 males and 388 females. 294 males and 245 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 85 male and 71 female agricultural labor. 411 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rani and Pali to sell furniture and make their living.
