Dahra is a small village of 339 hectares in Ladpura Tehsil in Kota district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dahra depends on KAITHOON, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dahra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dahra's pin code is 325203[3], and village code is 03802400. The area of Dahra is segregated as 260.29 hectares irrigated area, 16.71 hectares unirrigated, the 8.97 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 52.86 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Dahra has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Dahra is a census village in the district of Kota, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 758 and has total administration over 147 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Dahra has 104 children, 55 boys and 49 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 256 (33.77%) males constitute 128 (16.89%) of the population and females 128 (16.89%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 248 (32.72%) males constitute 129 (17.02%) of the population and females 119 (15.70%).

The workforce is 198 male, 20 female with 203 (93.12%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 189 males and 14 females. 75 males and 1 female are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 66 male and 9 female agricultural labor. 15 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KAITHOON and Kota to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
