Daiyana is a small village of 672 hectares in Sagwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Daiyana depends on Sagwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 30.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Daiyana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Daiyana's pin code is 314027[4], and village code is 03345800. The area of Daiyana is segregated as 97 hectares irrigated area, 134 hectares unirrigated, the 187 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 254 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Daiyana has One post office (Daiyana B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Daiyana has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Daiyana is a census village in the district of Dungarpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1275 and has total administration over 292 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 76 (5.96%) males constitute 38 (2.98%) of the population and females 38 (2.98%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 283 (22.20%) males constitute 142 (11.14%) of the population and females 141 (11.06%).

The workforce is 306 male, 321 female with 253 (40.35%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 194 males and 59 females. 106 males and 22 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 2 males. 374 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sagwara and Dungarpur to sell wheat and make their living.
