Damdama is a small village of 97 hectares in Chittaurgarh Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Damdama depends on Chittaurgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 25.98% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Damdama is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Damdama's pin code is 312022[4], and village code is 03598200. The area of Damdama is segregated as 45.98 hectares irrigated area, 20.21 hectares unirrigated, the 21.4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 9.8 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Damdama has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Damdama is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 270 and has total administration over 53 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Damdama has 37 children, 20 boys and 17 girls.
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 52 (19.26%) males constitute 26 (9.63%) of the population and females 26 (9.63%).

The workforce is 94 male, 82 female with 165 (93.75%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 86 males and 79 females. 45 males and 71 females are considered as the main cultivators. 11 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chittaurgarh and Chittorgarh to sell ghee and make their living.
