Joe Daniel Ramamoorthy (Popularly known as Dan Ram, born April 6, 1986) is a Master of Ceremonies, Professional Speaker, Speaking Coach, and Gospel Artist.
Ramamoorthy was born in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He was born to an Indian diplomat and spent 18 years of his childhood growing up in 8 countries and on 8 continents. One of his formative experiences was being chased by a wild lion while a teenager growing up in Zimbabwe. He has en Economics degree from Yale University and an MBA from Trinity College Dublin.
Ramamoorthy was one of 7 advisors to Minister Richard Bruton (Department of Jobs, Enterprise, and Innovation) to develop the Entrepreneurship Policy. The group was chaired by Dragon's Den Sean O'Sullivan (engineer) and led to the National Policy on Entrepreneurship.
Ramamoorthy is a professional public speaker[1][2] and International Master of Ceremonies. He is also an Entrepreneur[3], consultant, coach, and social media Influencer.
Ramamoorthy began his career working in the humanitarian sector: UN in Indonesia and World Vision in India. While In Ireland he was an Adjunct Lecturer on Entrepreneurship at Dublin Institute of Technology, a weekly radio presenter at national broadcaster Spirit Radio, founder of multiple startups, government advisor to the Ministry of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, trainer at startup accelerators, voice over artist and gospel artist. In Dublin he was an advisor to Minister Richard Bruton.[4][5]
