Dantina is a small village of 4154 hectares in Kheenvsar Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dantina depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dantina is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dantina's pin code is 341001[4], and village code is 01818000. The area of Dantina is segregated as 3443.55 hectares unirrigated, the 549.13 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 161.36 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dantina has One post office (Datina B.O). Dantina has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Dantina is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4882 and has total administration over 806 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Dantina has 897 children, 444 boys and 453 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 2024 (41.46%) males constitute 1060 (21.71%) of the population and females 964 (19.75%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 19 (0.39%) males constitute 11 (0.23%) of the population and females 8 (0.16%).

According to a census 2011 report, 2352 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1276 male, 1076 female with 963 (40.94%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 851 males and 112 females. 702 males and 97 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 24 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 1389 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nagaur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
