Dantla is a small village of 200 hectares in Mandawar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dantla depends on KHAIRTHAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 72.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dantla is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dantla's pin code is 301404[4], and village code is 00781100. The area of Dantla is segregated as 96 hectares irrigated area, 9 hectares unirrigated, the 7.4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 49 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dantla is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2562 and has total administration over 458 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Dantla has 389 children, 215 boys and 174 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1087 (42.43%) males constitute 557 (21.74%) of the population and females 530 (20.69%).

The workforce is 649 male, 216 female with 583 (67.4%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 521 males and 62 females. 72 males and 22 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 5 male and 6 female agricultural labor. 282 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KHAIRTHAL and Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
