Daroda is a small village of 445 hectares in Kathumar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Daroda depends on KHERLI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Daroda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Daroda's pin code is 321606[4], and village code is 00947100. The area of Daroda is segregated as 336 hectares irrigated area, 65 hectares unirrigated, the 4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 40 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Daroda has One post office (Daroda B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Daroda has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Daroda is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2322 and has total administration over 354 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Daroda has 366 children, 200 boys and 166 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 633 (27.26%) males constitute 342 (14.73%) of the population and females 291 (12.53%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 71 (3.06%) males constitute 43 (1.85%) of the population and females 28 (1.21%).

The workforce is 597 male, 519 female with 668 (59.86%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 515 males and 153 females. 415 males and 134 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 34 male and 9 female agricultural labor. 448 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KHERLI and Alwar to sell wood furniture and make their living.
