Debari is a small village of 1530 hectares in Girwa Tehsil in Udaipur district, also called 'the city of lakes' set amidst the Aravalli Ranges in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Debari depends on Udaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 128.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Debari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Debari's pin code is 313024[4], and village code is 03149400. The area of Debari is segregated as 128 hectares irrigated area, 229 hectares unirrigated, the 354 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 526 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Debari has One post office and Twenty public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Debari has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Debari is a census village in the district of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4052 and has total administration over 825 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Debari has 536 children, 297 boys and 239 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 318 (7.85%) males constitute 161 (3.97%) of the population and females 157 (3.87%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 785 (19.37%) males constitute 385 (9.50%) of the population and females 400 (9.87%).

The workforce is 1110 male, 165 female with 984 (77.18%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 917 males and 67 females. 128 males and 7 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 68 male and 12 female agricultural labor. 291 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Udaipur to sell zinc and make their living.
