Deeri is a small village of 4233 hectares in Pali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deeri depends on Bali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 6.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Deeri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Deeri's pin code is 306401[4], and village code is 02437500. The area of Deeri is segregated as 251 hectares irrigated area, 2009 hectares unirrigated, the 72 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1792 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Deeri has One post office (Dari B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Deeri has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Deeri is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2083 and has total administration over 468 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Deeri has 303 children, 165 boys and 138 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 476 (22.85%) males constitute 245 (11.76%) of the population and females 231 (11.09%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 394 (18.92%) males constitute 212 (10.18%) of the population and females 182 (8.74%).

According to a census 2011 report, 727 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 529 male, 198 female with 603 (82.94%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 474 males and 129 females. 277 males and 26 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 94 male and 91 female agricultural labor. 124 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bali and Pali to sell earthen pot and make their living.
