Dehgawan is a small village of 364 hectares in Bayana Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dehgawan depends on BAYANA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 267.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dehgawan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dehgawan's pin code is 321401[4], and village code is 01070000. The area of Dehgawan is segregated as 267 hectares irrigated area, 69 hectares unirrigated, the 10 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Dehgawan has One post office (Dahgaon B.O). Dehgawan has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Dehgawan is a census village in the district of Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2217 and has total administration over 396 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 595 (26.84%) males constitute 313 (14.12%) of the population and females 282 (12.72%).

The workforce is 629 male, 482 female with 560 (50.41%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 411 males and 149 females. 285 males and 111 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 11 male and 9 female agricultural labor. 551 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BAYANA and Bharatpur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
