Delana (Rural) is a small village of 1526 hectares in Sahara Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Delana (Rural) depends on Gangapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 5.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Delana (Rural) is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Delana (Rural)'s pin code is 311801[4], and village code is 02865500. The area of Delana (Rural) is segregated as 32 hectares irrigated area, 620.85 hectares unirrigated, the 772 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 101 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Delana (Rural) is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2752 and has total administration over 590 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 245 (8.90%) males constitute 112 (4.07%) of the population and females 133 (4.83%).

The workforce is 895 male, 913 female with 1228 (67.92%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 711 males and 517 females. 251 males and 188 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 26 male and 17 female agricultural labor. 580 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Gangapur and Bhilwara to sell bricks and make their living.
