Delas is a small village of 613 hectares in Shahpura Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Delas depends on Shahpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Delas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Delas's pin code is 311407[4], and village code is 02815900. The area of Delas is segregated as 45.81 hectares irrigated area, 288.95 hectares unirrigated, the 117.29 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 161.29 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Delas has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Delas is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 433 and has total administration over 87 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Delas has 70 children, 38 boys and 32 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 36 (8.31%) males constitute 22 (5.08%) of the population and females 14 (3.23%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 67 (15.47%) males constitute 34 (7.85%) of the population and females 33 (7.62%).

The workforce is 110 male, 12 female with 111 (90.98%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 108 males and 3 females. 99 males and 2 females are considered as the main cultivators. 11 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Shahpura and Bhilwara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
