Delwas is a small village of 1166 hectares in Sarada Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Delwas depends on Salumbar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 10.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Delwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Delwas's pin code is 313801[4], and village code is 03252600. The area of Delwas is segregated as 64 hectares irrigated area, 117 hectares unirrigated, the 240 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 312 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Delwas has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Delwas is a census village in the district of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2332 and has total administration over 448 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Delwas has 478 children, 240 boys and 238 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 3 (0.13%) males constitute 2 (0.09%) of the population and females 1 (0.04%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 2251 (96.53%) males constitute 1145 (49.10%) of the population and females 1106 (47.43%).

The workforce is 582 male, 524 female with 55 (04.97%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 48 males and 7 females. 2 males and 1 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 2 male . 1051 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Salumbar and Udaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
