Deodan is a small village of 330 hectares in Bari Sadri Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deodan depends on Bari Sadri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 20.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deodan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Deodan's pin code is 312404[4], and village code is 03702400. The area of Deodan is segregated as 40.79 hectares irrigated area, 189.59 hectares unirrigated, the 79.73 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 19.74 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Deodan has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Deodan is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 824 and has total administration over 184 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 20 (2.43%) males constitute 11 (1.33%) of the population and females 9 (1.09%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 241 (29.25%) males constitute 112 (13.59%) of the population and females 129 (15.66%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bari Sadri and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
