Deogaon is a small village of 436 hectares in Chaksu Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deogaon depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 259.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deogaon is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Deogaon's pin code is 303901[4], and village code is 01619700. The area of Deogaon is segregated as 259 hectares irrigated area, 70 hectares unirrigated, the 81 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 26 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Deogaon has One post office (Thoomli Ka Bas B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Deogaon has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Deogaon is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2054 and has total administration over 327 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Deogaon has 334 children, 167 boys and 167 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 740 (36.03%) males constitute 385 (18.74%) of the population and females 355 (17.28%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 959 (46.69%) males constitute 476 (23.17%) of the population and females 483 (23.52%).

The workforce is 470 male, 354 female with 753 (91.38%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 455 males and 298 females. 245 males and 218 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 8 male and 26 female agricultural labor. 71 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
