Deogarh is a small village of 353 hectares in Gangdhar Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deogarh depends on Bhawani Mandi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 35.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deogarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Deogarh's pin code is 326514[4], and village code is 04093900. The area of Deogarh is segregated as 73.72 hectares irrigated area, 64.48 hectares unirrigated, the 88.61 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 110.42 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Deogarh has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Deogarh is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 396 and has total administration over 91 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 186 (46.97%) males constitute 95 (23.99%) of the population and females 91 (22.98%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 8 (2.02%) males constitute 6 (1.52%) of the population and females 2 (0.51%).

The workforce is 133 male, 66 female with 118 (59.3%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 106 males and 12 females. 38 males are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 29 male and 6 female agricultural labor. 81 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhawani Mandi and Jhalawar to sell ghee and make their living.
