Deoli is a small village of 370 hectares in Jhalrapatan Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deoli depends on Jhalrapatan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 19.60% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deoli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Deoli's pin code is 326023[4], and village code is 04019600. The area of Deoli is segregated as 19.6 hectares irrigated area, 49.8 hectares unirrigated, the 16.9 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 20.34 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Deoli has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Deoli is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 429 and has total administration over 92 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Deoli has 63 children, 34 boys and 29 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 6 (1.40%) males constitute 3 (0.70%) of the population and females 3 (0.70%).

The workforce is 122 male, 119 female with 230 (95.44%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 118 males and 112 females. 116 males and 101 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 2 male and 11 female agricultural labor. 11 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhalrapatan and Jhalawar to sell ghee and make their living.
