Deoli is a small village of 1286 hectares in Lalsot Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deoli depends on Lalsot, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 407.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deoli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Deoli's pin code is 303503[4], and village code is 01433700. The area of Deoli is segregated as 863 hectares irrigated area, 132 hectares unirrigated, the 248 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 43 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Deoli has One post office (Deoli B.O). Deoli has One bank and One credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Deoli is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3340 and has total administration over 589 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Deoli has 515 children, 291 boys and 224 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1039 (31.11%) males constitute 542 (16.23%) of the population and females 497 (14.88%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 1638 (49.04%) males constitute 851 (25.48%) of the population and females 787 (23.56%).

The workforce is 765 male, 733 female with 1110 (74.1%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 671 males and 439 females. 480 males and 361 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 6 male and 13 female agricultural labor. 388 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Lalsot and Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
