Deori Upreti is a small village of 562 hectares in Shahbad Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deori Upreti depends on Baran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deori Upreti is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Deori Upreti's pin code is 325217[4], and village code is 03929200. The area of Deori Upreti is segregated as 48.8 hectares irrigated area, 126 hectares unirrigated, the 53.34 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 135.96 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Baran to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
