Derna is a small village of 357 hectares in Abu Road Tehsil in Sirohi district, known as Rajasthani hill station of Mount Abu in Aravalli range in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Derna depends on ABU ROAD, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 100.20% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Derna is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Derna's pin code is 307026[4], and village code is 02372400. The area of Derna is segregated as 101.2 hectares irrigated area, 131.1 hectares unirrigated area.

Derna is a census village in the district of Sirohi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 507 and has total administration over 962 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 14 (2.76%) males constitute 13 (2.56%) of the population and females 278 (54.83%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 135 (26.63%) males constitute 143 (28.21%) of the population and females 438 (86.39%).

The workforce is 224 male, 337 female with 215 (80.83%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 122 males and 62 females. 2 males and 125 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 109 male and 5 female agricultural labor. 51 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of ABU ROAD and Sirohi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
