Deroli is a small village of 140 hectares in Beejoliya Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deroli depends on Beejoliya Kalan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 3.50% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Deroli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Deroli's pin code is 311602[4], and village code is 02951500. The area of Deroli is segregated as 20 hectares irrigated area, 32.1 hectares unirrigated, the 37.89 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 26.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Deroli has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Deroli is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 379 and has total administration over 72 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Deroli has 79 children, 44 boys and 35 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 51 (13.46%) males constitute 21 (5.54%) of the population and females 30 (7.92%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 134 (35.36%) males constitute 60 (15.83%) of the population and females 74 (19.53%).

Employment[edit]

According to a census 2011 report, 201 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 105 male, 96 female with 181 (90.05%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 95 males and 86 females. 40 males and 47 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 11 male and 29 female agricultural labor. 20 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beejoliya Kalan and Bhilwara to sell ghee and make their living.
