Dewan is a small village of 1737 hectares in Rohat Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dewan depends on Pali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dewan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Dewan's pin code is 306421[4], and village code is 02425000.
