Dhakya is a small village of 541 hectares in Ramganj Mandi Tehsil in Kota district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhakya depends on CHECHAT, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 94.60% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhakya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dhakya's pin code is 326520[3], and village code is 03823900. The area of Dhakya is segregated as 94.6 hectares irrigated area, 213.4 hectares unirrigated, the 84.3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 148.3 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dhakya is a census village in the district of Kota, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1418 and has total administration over 278 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Dhakya has 231 children, 113 boys and 118 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 348 (24.54%) males constitute 171 (12.06%) of the population and females 177 (12.48%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 637 (44.92%) males constitute 320 (22.57%) of the population and females 317 (22.36%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of CHECHAT and Kota to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
