Dhandera is a small village of 782 hectares in Pirawa Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhandera depends on Pirawa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 43.31% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhandera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dhandera's pin code is 326034[4], and village code is 04114700. The area of Dhandera is segregated as 93.89 hectares irrigated area, 151.83 hectares unirrigated, the 162.17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 46.31 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dhandera has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Dhandera is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 722 and has total administration over 155 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Dhandera has 108 children, 56 boys and 52 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 250 (34.63%) males constitute 115 (15.93%) of the population and females 135 (18.70%).

The workforce is 227 male, 219 female with 266 (59.64%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 226 males and 40 females. 190 males are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 36 male and 40 female agricultural labor. 180 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pirawa and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
