Dharki is a small village of 143 hectares in Kushalgarh Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dharki depends on Kushalgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dharki is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dharki's pin code is 327801[4], and village code is 03494700. The area of Dharki is segregated as 6 hectares irrigated area, 86 hectares unirrigated, the 15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 22 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Dharki has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Dharki is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 663 and has total administration over 139 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Dharki has 125 children, 70 boys and 55 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 24 (3.62%) males constitute 15 (2.26%) of the population and females 9 (1.36%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 634 (95.63%) males constitute 326 (49.17%) of the population and females 308 (46.46%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kushalgarh and Banswara to sell broom and make their living.
