Dharma is a small village of 58 hectares in Ghatol Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dharma depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Dharma is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dharma's pin code is 327021[4], and village code is 03387400. The area of Dharma is segregated as 33 hectares irrigated area, 5 hectares unirrigated, the 4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 16 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Dharma has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Dharma is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 356 and has total administration over 71 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Dharma has 73 children, 38 boys and 35 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 22 (6.18%) males constitute 12 (3.37%) of the population and females 10 (2.81%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 334 (93.82%) males constitute 153 (42.98%) of the population and females 181 (50.84%).

The workforce is 80 male, 82 female with 121 (74.69%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 67 males and 54 females. 59 males and 46 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 2 male and 4 female agricultural labor. 41 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell ghee and make their living.
