Dhaula is a small village of 810 hectares in Jamwa Ramgarh Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhaula depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 229.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhaula is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dhaula's pin code is 303120[4], and village code is 01586800. The area of Dhaula is segregated as 229 hectares irrigated area, 42 hectares unirrigated, the 231 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 260 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dhaula has One post office (Dhola B.O) and Thirty Five public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Dhaula has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Dhaula is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2815 and has total administration over 500 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Dhaula has 477 children, 255 boys and 222 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 553 (19.64%) males constitute 286 (10.16%) of the population and females 267 (9.48%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 68 (2.42%) males constitute 38 (1.35%) of the population and females 30 (1.07%).

According to a census 2011 report, 918 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 683 male, 235 female with 610 (66.45%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 521 males and 89 females. 182 males and 38 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 83 male and 19 female agricultural labor. 308 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell ghee and make their living.
