Dhawari is a small village of 358 hectares in Dungarpur Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhawari depends on Dungarpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 8.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Dhawari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dhawari's pin code is 314036[4], and village code is 03301500. The area of Dhawari is segregated as 68 hectares irrigated area, 38 hectares unirrigated, the 229.37 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 23 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dhawari has One post office (Dhavri B.O) and Three public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Dhawari has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Dhawari is a census village in the district of Dungarpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 549 and has total administration over 121 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 7 (1.28%) males constitute 3 (0.55%) of the population and females 4 (0.73%).

The workforce is 155 male, 95 female with 144 (57.6%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 126 males and 18 females. 55 males and 11 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 5 male and 3 female agricultural labor. 106 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dungarpur to sell ghee and make their living.
