Dholan is a small village of 488 hectares in Rajgarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dholan depends on RAJGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 10.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dholan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dholan's pin code is 301415[4], and village code is 00904400. The area of Dholan is segregated as 27 hectares irrigated area, 58 hectares unirrigated, the 114 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 252 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Dholan has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Dholan is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 566 and has total administration over 97 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Dholan has 105 children, 64 boys and 41 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 58 (10.25%) males constitute 32 (5.65%) of the population and females 26 (4.59%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 408 (72.08%) males constitute 220 (38.87%) of the population and females 188 (33.22%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAJGARH and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
