Dhos is a small village of 626 hectares in Kishangarh Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhos depends on Sarwar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhos is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Dhos's pin code is 305412[4], and village code is 02568800. The area of Dhos is segregated as 106.07 hectares irrigated area, 417.65 hectares unirrigated, the 62.85 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 39.8 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dhos is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 439 and has total administration over 89 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Dhos has 74 children, 34 boys and 40 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 109 (24.83%) males constitute 57 (12.98%) of the population and females 52 (11.85%).

The workforce is 129 male, 117 female with 148 (60.16%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 119 males and 29 females. 94 males and 19 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 1 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 98 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sarwar and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
