Didwana is a small village of 1933 hectares in Lalsot Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Didwana depends on Lalsot, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Didwana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Didwana's pin code is 303511[4], and village code is 01423900. The area of Didwana is segregated as 294 hectares irrigated area, 45 hectares unirrigated, the 614 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 784 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Didwana has One post office (Didwana S.O) and Thirty public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Didwana has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with One recreational center.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Didwana is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 13342 and has total administration over 2286 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Didwana has 1974 children, 1033 boys and 941 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 3730 (27.96%) males constitute 1900 (14.24%) of the population and females 1830 (13.72%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 52 (0.39%) males constitute 25 (0.19%) of the population and females 27 (0.20%).

The workforce is 3345 male, 2120 female with 4639 (84.89%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 3117 males and 1522 females. 1154 males and 1039 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 135 male and 157 female agricultural labor. 826 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Lalsot and Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
