Digod is a small village of 1804 hectares in Sangod Tehsil in Kota district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Digod depends on KOTA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Digod is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Digod's pin code is 325601[3], and village code is 03794000. The area of Digod is segregated as 1527.6 hectares irrigated area, 12.58 hectares unirrigated, the 40.26 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 223.38 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Digod has One post office (Digod B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Digod has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Digod is a census village in the district of Kota, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 168734 and has total administration over 33029 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Digod has 21973 children, 11572 boys and 10401 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 40720 (24.13%) males constitute 21089 (12.50%) of the population and females 19631 (11.63%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 30320 (17.97%) males constitute 15727 (9.32%) of the population and females 14593 (8.65%).

According to a census 2011 report, 74994 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 46621 male, 28373 female with 50060 (66.75%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 39005 males and 11055 females. 18173 males and 3155 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 10927 male and 6112 female agricultural labor. 24934 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kota to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
