Dilwara is a small village of 422 hectares in Nasirabad Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dilwara depends on Nasirabad, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 5.70% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dilwara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dilwara's pin code is 305601[4], and village code is 02552100. The area of Dilwara is segregated as 40.7 hectares irrigated area, 225 hectares unirrigated, the 50 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 106 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dilwara has One post office (Dilwara B.O) and Twenty public telephones. Dilwara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Dilwara is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2071 and has total administration over 361 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Dilwara has 330 children, 172 boys and 158 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 255 (12.31%) males constitute 127 (6.13%) of the population and females 128 (6.18%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 5 (0.24%) males constitute 2 (0.10%) of the population and females 3 (0.14%).

According to a census 2011 report, 807 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 540 male, 267 female with 680 (84.26%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 492 males and 188 females. 155 males and 162 females are considered as the main cultivators. 127 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nasirabad and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
