Dingai is a small village of 1567 hectares in Pali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dingai depends on Pali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dingai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Dingai's pin code is 306422[4], and village code is 02436800. The area of Dingai is segregated as 123 hectares irrigated area, 1231 hectares unirrigated, the 71 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 142 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dingai has One post office (Deegai B.O) and Twenty Three public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Dingai has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Dingai is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2387 and has total administration over 545 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Dingai has 329 children, 181 boys and 148 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 223 (9.34%) males constitute 115 (4.82%) of the population and females 108 (4.52%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 430 (18.01%) males constitute 219 (9.17%) of the population and females 211 (8.84%).

The workforce is 590 male, 187 female with 550 (70.79%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 428 males and 122 females. 258 males and 56 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 99 male and 58 female agricultural labor. 227 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pali to sell coal and make their living.
