Dobra is a small village of 714 hectares in Gangdhar Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dobra depends on Sangod, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 91.33% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dobra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dobra's pin code is 326514[4], and village code is 03976600. The area of Dobra is segregated as 350.81 hectares irrigated area, 235.99 hectares unirrigated, the 98.95 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28.71 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dobra is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1469 and has total administration over 262 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 397 male, 346 female with 716 (96.37%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 385 males and 331 females. 370 males and 322 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 7 male and 6 female agricultural labor. 27 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sangod and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
