Duriya is a small village of 1188 hectares in Udaipurwati Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Duriya depends on UDAIPURWATI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 350.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Duriya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Duriya's pin code is 333022[4], and village code is 00749100. The area of Duriya is segregated as 350 hectares irrigated area, 764 hectares unirrigated, remaining 74 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Duriya is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3342 and has total administration over 629 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 470 (14.06%) males constitute 237 (7.09%) of the population and females 233 (6.97%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 31 (0.93%) males constitute 12 (0.36%) of the population and females 19 (0.57%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of UDAIPURWATI and Jhunjhunu to sell wood furniture and make their living.
