Durjani is a small village of 8149 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Durjani depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Durjani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Durjani's pin code is 342301[4], and village code is 01908000. The area of Durjani is segregated as 1028 hectares unirrigated, the 3888 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 3233 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Durjani has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Durjani is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 640 and has total administration over 126 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Durjani has 145 children, 62 boys and 83 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 241 (37.66%) males constitute 121 (18.91%) of the population and females 120 (18.75%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phalodi and Jodhpur to sell blanket and make their living.
