Edorem is a small village of 137 hectares in Satari Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Edorem depends on VALPOI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Edorem is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Edorem's pin code is 403506[5], and village code is 00013500. The area of Edorem is segregated as 17.85 hectares irrigated area, 103.57 hectares unirrigated, the 9.5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 6.28 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Edorem is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 291 and has total administration over 60 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
As per the census 2011 report, 226 people are literate in Edorem out of which 123 are males and 103 are females.

According to a census 2011 report, 135 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 90 male, 45 female with 116 (85.93%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 77 males and 39 females. 21 males and 3 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 22 male and 27 female agricultural labor. 19 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of VALPOI and North Goa to sell cashew nuts and make their living.
