    Education

From Wikitia - Reading time: 1 min

Education is defined as the process of aiding learning, which includes the development of information, skills, values, morals, beliefs, and habits. Education is also defined as the facilitation of learning. Teaching, training, storytelling, group debate, and guided study are all examples of educational techniques. Education is usually carried out under the supervision of educators; nevertheless, learners have the ability to educate themselves as well. Educating someone may take place in formally or informally settings, and any event that has a formative impact on the way a person thinks, feels, or behaves can be deemed educative in nature. Pedagogy is the term used to describe the methodology of teaching.

Traditionally, formal education is split into phases, such as preschool or kindergarten, primary school, secondary school, and eventually college or university, or an apprenticeship programme. Most areas require children to attend school until they reach a particular age.

A number of education reform movements are underway, including those aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of education, ensuring that it is relevant to students' lives and that they are capable of solving problems in modern or future society, and advocating for evidence-based education methodologies. Some countries, as well as the United Nations, have acknowledged the existence of a right to education. Global efforts are aimed at attaining Sustainable Development Goal 4, which calls for universal access to high-quality education.
