Eisarena Bremerhaven is an arena in Bremerhaven, Germany. It is primarily used for ice hockey and is the home arena of The Fischtown Pinguins.[1]

The Eisarena opened on 4th March, 2011[2] [3], having been built specifically to replace the Pinguins' former home arena which was ineligible for Deutsche Eishockey Liga competition due to poor facilities.[4] The building is situated next to the Bremerhaven Stadthalle, a venue and arena used for events and sports. [5]

Construction began on the arena in 2009 [6] and was completed in 2010. The first Pinguins game held in the arena was a 2nd Eishockey-Bundesliga fixture against the Hannover Indians, which the Pinguins won 3-1.[7]
