Eliezer Kamenesky (Bakhmut, Russian Empire, April 4, 1888 – Lisbon, Portugal, 1957) was a Russian actor, musician and writer. Born to a Russian jewish family, he travelled the world in his youth before settling in Portugal for the most of his life. He became known for his vegetarianism and naturism advocacy and acting in early Portuguese films.[1] In recognition of his wife's charitable action in her home village, a street in Redondo, Portugal is named after the couple: Rua Dona Arnilda e Eliezer Kamenezky.
