Matthew Chukwuemeka Onyike (born 14 August 1999), better known as Emeka[1][2], is a British rapper [3]Emeka and songwriter[4] and from Gosport, Hampshire. [5] His stage name is the short version of his Nigerian name 'Chukwuemeka', which means "God has done so much" Emeka is an artist who resides in Australia but originates from the UK.[6] He started releasing music in July 2021. [7]

Matthew Chukwuemeka Onyike was on born August 14, 1999.[8] As well as music,[9] he is a podcast host for, and owner of The Modern Day Man Podcast [10] [11]

Personal life[edit]

On Genius (company)|Genius Emeka cited Wretch 32, Cadet, Kano and others as musical influences,[12] which he later also mentioned in an interview [13]

Emeka is a big believer in self-improvement, the pursuit of greatness, and self-development[14]

Emeka is the grandson of Eze Ogo Anagha Ezikpe and Linda Ezikpe[20], who were both prominent Nigerian figures [21] [22] [23] [24], and Emeka's source of inspiration and motivation [25] [26]
