Eral is a small village of 334 hectares in Chittaurgarh Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Eral depends on Chittaurgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Eral is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Eral's pin code is 312001[4], and village code is 03606400. The area of Eral is segregated as 145 hectares irrigated area, 116.55 hectares unirrigated, the 58.38 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13.62 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Eral has Five public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Eral has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Eral is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 994 and has total administration over 215 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Eral has 137 children, 69 boys and 68 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 343 (34.51%) males constitute 171 (17.20%) of the population and females 172 (17.30%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 231 (23.24%) males constitute 113 (11.37%) of the population and females 118 (11.87%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chittaurgarh and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
