FVP Trade is a global financial derivatives broker that specializes in the foreign exchange (forex) and contracts for difference (CFD) sectors.[1] It was founded in 2017 as a subsidiary of FVP Holdings.[2] FVP Trade is headquartered in Ashley Ritter Building, Fleming St, Road Town, British Virgins Islands and has operations across the globe.[3][4]
FVP Trade is regulated by the FCA (956489) The Financial Conduct Authority is a financial regulatory body in the United Kingdom but operates independently of the UK Government. ASIC (AFS Representative Number: 001289584) The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) regulates registered companies, financial markets, and providers of financial services and credit services.[5][6] It is also regulated by the NFA (0536360), a self-regulatory organization for the U.S. derivatives industry and MSB (M21364520), is the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada.[7][8][9]
FVP Trade was launched on 23 October as a subsidiary by Tim Booth, CEO of FVP Holdings.[10] Within a month, former Kleinwort Benson executive Jonathan Greene was appointed as the CEO.[11] The company's core business lies in its advanced trading platforms which can trade a range of financial products such as forex, shares, metals, commodities as well as indices CFDs. FVP Trade operates on Metatrader 4, a highly efficient trading platform that is compliant on all devices including Android/iOS smartphones.[12][13]
In 2018, FVP Group took over Global FX Tech, a US financial technology company.[14] After this acquisition, Keith Walker, CEO of Global FX Tech became FVP Trade’s risk strategy head. In the same year, FVP Trade secured an investment for an undisclosed sum from Deutsche Capital Group.[15][16]
In 2019, FVP Group took over Qfinity Labs, a Quantum Computing company.[17] After this acquisition, FVP Trade leveraged the company’s quantum technology to change its operating model.[18]
In 2021, FVP Trade was featured in Dr. David Moche’s book - Application of Quantum Computing in Finance.[19][20] Within three years, FVP Trade has become one of the world’s fastest-growing CFD providers.[21][22]
30th of July Mr Jonathan Greene of FVP Trade has been awarded CEO of the Year 2021 by CEO Monthly Magazine.[23]
2nd of August FVP Trade announce that they have agreed to become an official partner of Blackburn Rovers F.C. for the new season. This will see them become the club’s official website and social media sponsor with an advertising presence around the stadium.[24]
16-17th of November FVP Trade attends the Finance Magnates 2021 London Summit as the Official Online CFD Trading Sponsor.[25]
