Vincent grew up bilingual in Lüdinghausen, Germany, as his father is a native of New Jersey, USA. His father was a DJ in various clubs in the United States in his youth, spinning Hip-Hop, Funk und RnB music.
In September 2016, the album Trittschall by female rapper and amateur actress Nina Menke (also known as Mrs. Nina Chartier) was released, on which Jewell produced the songs Flaschenpost (feat. Jacy) and Outro. The album was released under the label Keine Faxen, distributed by Sony Music.[3][4]
At the event UFC 268 Vincent provided the walkout song for the participant Andreas Michailidis, as well as at the event UFC Fight Night: Jacaré vs. Hermansson for the participant Jason Gonzalez.[1] The events were broadcast on the American TV channel ESPN.[5][6]
On the TV show MTV Girls On Top, produced by BBC Worldwide, Jewell's composition Way Of The Warrior (Part 1) was licensed and used several times in six episodes of the show. The cast of the show included Indian actress Barkha Singh and Indian actor, dancer and choreographer Shantanu Maheshwari.[7][8]
The German TV show Galileo on the private TV channel ProSieben has also made use of Vincent's music repertoire. In the episdoe Der Highway auf dem Hausdach the composition Unstoppable Warrior, which Jewell composed in collaboration with DIDKER (former Didek Beats) was included for the production of the episode.[1][9]
Vincent was also involved in the official soundtrack of the Brazilian short film Djorge: Da Bonja pro Mundo in collaboration with DIDKER.[10]
In 2016, 2017, 2021, as well as 2022, Jewell contributed a composition to each of the official soundtracks of the international breakdance event Battle Of The Year, which was released under the Dominance Records label. The event was filmed in 2013 and featured actor and singer Chris Brown among others.[11][12][13][14]
Rapper Chris Ares has also used Vincent's musical arts on several occasions. The album Ares, released on August 3, 2020, on which the songs BRDigung, Löwe and Machtwechsel were created by Jewell, made it to peak 44 (1 week) in the official charts of Switzerland.[15]
Furthermore, in June 19, 2020, the single Killer's Blood by the artist Cryptik Soul and the rappers Swifty McVay and Kuniva appeared on one of Jewell's compositions. McVay and Kuniva are former members of the multi-award-winning hip-hop crew D12, which since 1999 was signed to the label Shady Records of the successful US rapper Eminem.[16]
In 2021, the official music videos for the songs Weiter 4[17] and Squid Game[18] by rapper MiZeb, produced and composed by Jewell, was released. The song title, video and lyric content of the song Squid Game pay homage to the award-winning hit series Squid Game, which was released worldwide in September 2021 by streaming provider Netflix. The basis of the song was composed by Jewell by sampling the OST of the series.
In 2022, Jewell released the single Work It Out (feat. Didker & Agf.Israel), as well as We Gonna Make It (feat. Julian Rübner & Dogman Rukus) and Jazz Do It, which brought Jewell to the attention of several hip-hop magazines und blogs.[19][20] Among others he was mentioned in LA Weekly and in The Source.[21][22]
Furthermore, Jewell was exclusively interviewed by the online platform 24Hip-Hop.[23]
In the same year, the single Lone Wolf was released by Spirit Of Truth (feat. Ill Bill & Celph Titled) which were produced by Vincent.[24]
Likewise, exclusive compostions by Jewell for TV, film and video gaming licensing were signed and released by Epic Music LA, FBP Music Publishing, Amori Sounds / Marmoset Music and Hunchback Music for industry usage.[25][26][27][28][29][30]
