Gajnai is a small village of 659 hectares in Sojat Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gajnai depends on Sojat, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gajnai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gajnai's pin code is 306114[4], and village code is 02421600. The area of Gajnai is segregated as 30 hectares irrigated area, 70 hectares unirrigated, the 224 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 335 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gajnai has One post office (Gajnai B.O) and One public telephone. Gajnai has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Gajnai is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 994 and has total administration over 202 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 16 (1.61%) males constitute 7 (0.70%) of the population and females 9 (0.91%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sojat and Pali to sell ghee and make their living.
