songwriter, vocal producer, and music video director. He is known for his artistry through his constantly evolving music and style throughout his career. Gamaliél gained recognition from covering songs on YouTube performing as a teenager back in 2008 with his little sister Audrey Tapiheru that soon after joined him on a musical group GAC (Gamaliél Audrey Cantika) with their online musical friend Cantika Abigail, and debuted under Sony Music Indonesia Indonesia record label in 2010.

To name a few, Raisa (singer), Rossa (singer), Eva Celia, RAN (Indonesian group), Marion Jola, and Rini Wulandari. His passion for visual arts is exquisitely plastered over almost every GAC’s music videos from time to time.
Embarking on a solo journey, Gamaliél shared his sentimental side with his gentle yet powerful "Forever More" (stylized to / forever more /) that brought him his very first award as a solo artist (Artis Solo Pria/Wanita Urban Terbaik, Anugerah Musik Indonesia 2020) a year after the group decided to have a break in 2019.
Gamaliel was born and raised in Jakarta, as the third among the four children born to George Stefanus Elisha Tapiheru and Magdalena Christie Budihardjo Tapiheru. His musical prowess was inspired by his parents, who often sang in church. During elementary school, Gamaliel learned violin.
Gamaliel graduated from Dian Harapan School. He obtained a degree in Visual Communication Design from Multimedia Nusantara University in 2013.
