Gamri is a small village of 414 hectares in Aspur Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gamri depends on Sagwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 7.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gamri is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sagwara and Dungarpur to sell bamboo items and make their living.
