Ganka is a small village of 473 hectares in Abu Road Tehsil in Sirohi district, known as Rajasthani hill station of Mount Abu in Aravalli range in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ganka depends on ABU ROAD, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 19.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ganka is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ganka's pin code is 307510[4], and village code is 02369700. The area of Ganka is segregated as 140 hectares irrigated area, 211 hectares unirrigated, the 50 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 72 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ganka is a census village in the district of Sirohi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 869 and has total administration over 1748 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 14 (1.61%) males constitute 22 (2.53%) of the population and females 1539 (177.10%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 766 (88.15%) males constitute 773 (88.95%) of the population and females 535 (61.57%).

According to a census 2011 report, 440 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 258 male, 637 female with 430 (97.73%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 207 males and 172 females. 29 males and 202 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 95 males and 1 female agricultural labor. 10 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of ABU ROAD and Sirohi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
